ISTANBUL - "Sonbahar" (Autumn) and "Üç Maymun" (Three Monkeys) left their mark on the 41st Turkish Cinema Writers’ Association, or SIYAD, award ceremony held at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul.

Özcan Alper’s "Autumn" won three awards, including the best film, and Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s "Thre Monkeys" won four awards including the best director.

The award for best actor award went to Onur Saylak for "Autumn" and best actress went to Hatice Aslan for "Three Monkeys," giving both artists awards in their first feature film.

At the ceremony Sunday, SİYAD Honorary Chairman and film critic Atilla Dorsay presented a special prize to the International Federation of Film Critics, or FIPRESCI, President Klaus Eder. This year’s Honorary Award was given to actress Şener Şen for his contributions to Turkish cinema.

Best Director: Nuri Bilge Ceylan (Three Monkeys)

Best Actor: Onur Saylak (The Spring)

Best Actress:  Hatice Aslan (Thee Monkeys)

Best Supporting Actress: Tülin Özen (Vicdan Ğ Conscience)

Best Supporting Actor: Ahmet Rıfat Şungar (Three Monkeys)

Best Screenwriting: Özcan Alper (The Spring)

Best Director of Photography: Feza Çaldıran (The Spring)

Best Music: Demir Demirkan (The Revolution Cars)

Best Editing: Ayhan Ergürsel, Bora Gökşingöl, Nuri Bilge Ceylan  (Three Monkeys)

Best Director of Art: Natali Yeres (Rıza)
