Turkish Cypriot leader arrives in Ankara

NICOSIA - Turkish Cypriot Mehmet Ali Talat is scheduled to visit Ankara on Friday, Turkish Cypriot government spokesman Hasan Erçakıca said yesterday.
Talat will be conferred with the "medal of honor", a medal that is given to leaders who contributed to the activities of the Common Directorate of Turkic Arts and Culture, or TÜRKSOY. Talat will also meet Turkish officials during his stay in Ankara.
