Turkey goalkeeper Volkan Demirel has been banned for two matches and will miss their quarter-final and a possible semi-final at Euro 2008, UEFA said on Wednesday.

Volkan was red carded in stoppage time in Turkey's dramatic 3-2 victory over Czech Republic in Group A to claim a quarter-final place against Croatia in Vienna on Friday. The keeper pushed Czech striker Jan Koller to the ground.
2002 World Cup hero Rustu Recber is expected to replace Demirel in goal in Friday's match.Â
