NY Giants seek 5th straight win over suprising Ravens

EAST RUTHERFORD - The Super Bowl champion New York Giants vie for a fifth straight victory to take their record to 9-1 on Sunday when they host surprising Baltimore in the NFL.
The contest features the Giants' league-leading rushing offense against the Raven's top run-stopping defense.
New York quarterback Eli Manning has been solid but unspectacular in the Giants' four-game winning streak, throwing for fewer than 200 yards in each game. Brandon Jacobs, meanwhile, has been all but unstoppable. He rushed for 126 yards in last week's victory over Philadelphia, his fourth 100-yard game of the season.
The Ravens haven't allowed a 100-yard rusher in 28 straight games. But they have not faced an offense as efficient as the Giants, who have rushed for more than 200 yards in each of their last two games.
New York's 9-1 start is their best since they started 10-0 during their 1990 Super Bowl season.
"We're just playing good football," Manning said. "We're not making a whole lot of mistakes. In football, you're going to make mistakes, you're going to have some bad days, but we're overcoming them more quickly."
While the Ravens defense is solid, they are also benefiting from the steady play of rookie quarterback Joe Flacco, who has energized the offense. They too enter the contest riding a four-game winning streak.
In Jacksonville, the Tennessee Titans will try to remain unbeaten as they take on the Jaguars team that started it all in the first week of the season.
The Jaguars, meanwhile, will be trying avenge that week one defeat.
The Dallas Cowboys will also be out to avenge an early-season defeat as they welcome quarterback Tony Romo back from injury in time to take on division rivals Washington.
Dallas started the season as a popular pick to reach the Super Bowl, a notion backed up by their 3-0 start. But the Cowboys were brought back to earth by Washington in a 26-24 setback on September 28 - the first of three defeats in a four-week stretch that also saw Romo sidelined by a broken pinkie finger.
"Romo is better and better. Last week he was OK," head coach Wade Phillips said. "Today he was a lot better, I think. He had more zip on the ball. He felt more comfortable."
