Iraq to open consulate in Gaziantep

BAGHDAD - The Iraqi government has decided to open a consulate general in the southeastern city of Gaziantep, Ali al-Dabbagh, spokesman for the Iraqi prime minister said in a statement yesterday.
The decision was taken during Sunday’s meeting of the Iraqi Council of Ministers. Dabbagh said the decision was made within the framework of recent mutual efforts to improve relations.
