''The current government of Turkey has made some very important economic reforms. No one would have talked about investing in the Turkish market 10 years ago. Now, things are much different. Every one wants to invest in Turkey today,'' told Almana.

Almana noted that his group's investments in Turkey are worth $80 million. ''We have 50 KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in Turkey. In 2006, we plan to open 10 more restaurants in Turkey. Our plans are based on the on-going stability in Turkish market,'' stressed Almana.

Almana said that his group is working on forming a Qatari-Turkish Business Council.

Almana hinted that businessmen of Qatar have serious plans of investing in the tourism sector of Turkey. ''Every one in Qatar knows Istanbul and Ankara. Yet no one is much aware of Antalya, Bodrum or Marmaris. Turkish tourism promises great potential for Qatari businessmen,'' stated Almana.
