ANKARA - Turkey’s economy may contract 7 percent this year as exports drop and the government delays a new loan accord with the International Monetary Fund, Istanbul-based Oyak Securities said.
Oyak revised its estimate from a previous 2 percent contraction, chief economist Mehmet Besimoğlu said in an e-mailed report to investors yesterday.
