Cement-makers cut to ‘underweight’ at HSBC

ISTANBUL – Turkish cement-makers including Adana Çimento were cut to “underweight” at HSBC Holdings, which cited slowing demand and possible cuts in public expenditure.
HSBC also downgraded Çimsa and Akçansa to “underweight.” HSBC reduced Akçansa’s price estimate to 3 liras from 3.5 liras and Çimsa’s to 3.5 liras from 3.8 liras.
