In spite of the global financial crisis that continues to ravage humanity, not to mention the flu epidemic, you humans insist on playing games and creating tensions.

One example is this so-called NATO sponsored exercise, within the Partnership for Peace Program, that is currently taking place in Georgia of the Caucasus and not in Georgia of the United States (yet). We ask you humans, why is such a military exercise needed, particularly in a country that is not threatened by anyone but itself? It is only natural that such an exercise is seen by Russia as a provocative action by NATO against it. The arguments used by NATO to justify this exercise are not serious, particularly the one saying that Russia could have participated in the exercise since it is a member of the Partnership for Peace Program. Of course it could have, but we all know that Georgia would not have permitted Russian troops to participate and then the exercise would have been canceled. Maybe Moscow should have asked to participate and then the problem would not exist. So instead of increasing tensions with Russia and wasting taxpayer money on useless military maneuvers, perhaps NATO should focus on its mission impossible of winning the war in Afghanistan or of dissolving itself for the benefit of humanity.

And speaking about Afghanistan, we wonder on how this war can be won, if the U.S. continues to kill innocent humans. The moment that Obama was meeting with the presidents of Afghanistan and Pakistan in order to coordinate their military efforts against the Taliban, the U.S. Air Force bombed targets in western Afghanistan that killed over 100 human civilians. We have said many times before and we will repeat once more that no war can ever be won without the support of the local population. So if you eliminate the local population, there will remain no one to support you.

You humans should also limit your lying to the absolute minimum since you cannot stop it entirely. We recently read in the human press that a hotel group would no longer automatically provide newspapers to its guests in an effort to reduce carbon emissions. The hotel group said that each newspaper represented emissions of 230 grams of carbon dioxide. According to the hotel group's announcement, its new policy would reduce paper distribution by 18 million newspapers per year, representing a reduction of 10,350 tons of emissions per year. That is absolute nonsense. The emissions are not produced by reading the newspaper but by printing them. We doubt that the global printing of newspapers will be reduced because one hotel group decides to limit its purchases. It would have been more honest if that hotel group announced that it was taking that measure to limit its expenses, in view of the global financial crisis, instead of caring all of a sudden for the environment.

Ponder our thoughts, dear humans, for your benefit.
