Survey of U.S. Department of State Showes: The world does not like U.S.

“According to the outcome of a poll recently carried out by the U.S. Department of State, the image of U.S. on the world is “scandalous”
“The U.S. Department of State launched this poll on 38 thousand participants in 44 countries related with U.S. The outcome of the poll in terms of U.S. can be summarized as that “increasing opposition to U.S. has been observed”. Furthermore, when this poll was launched, dying Iraqi children were not shown on the world TV-channels yet.
“The rate of those having positive opinions about U.S., which was 78% in Germany in 2000, decreased to 61% in 2002. This rate, which was 83% in Britain, fell to 75%. Among the countries dubbed as “conflict area” by U.S., the rate of those in favor of U.S. is 10% in Pakistan and 30% in Turkey.
“The rate of those, who support U.S. in her new defense strategy called anti-terrorist fight, is considerably low in Moslem countries. This rate is 5% in Egypt, 13% in Jordan, 20% in Pakistan, 30% in Turkey, 31% in Indonesia, 32% in Senegal and 38% in Lebanon.
