Two PKK members arrested in Istanbul

Two members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)/Kongra-Gel have been arrested by police in Istanbul, stated the anti-terror department said on Tuesday. In a statement made on Tuesday the anti-terror department said, "4.7 kilograms of plastic explosives, 4 electrical fuses, materials used in bomb production, and organizational documents were seized in the operation staged against the places where these terrorists were sheltering." According to anti-terror department executives, the detained terrorists were picked up before carrying out planned bomb attacks.Â
