The Marmara Antalya Hotel is situated in the center of Antalya on the Falez cliffs and features spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. Unlike many flamboyant, exclusive resorts in the region, the Marmara Antalya has a simple, informal, almost childlike atmosphere but remains an international first-class hotel.

Every detail of the hotel has been carefully designed. Although the hotel is famous for its 360-degree revolving structure, the real highlight is its restaurant, "Tuti." With high ceilings, warm light, multicolored sofas and a rather atypical dining area, the restaurant, and particularly the Sunday brunch buffet, offers an enchanting experience.Â

The Marmara Antalya is internationally celebrated as the first revolving hotel in the world, and is especially popular among Korean visitors. However once at the hotel, the most startling feature of the structure is the vivid, bright, informal design of the Tuti restaurant area, breathtaking upon entry.

Resembling a picnic party hosted by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, the vibrant colors are marvelous. There are multicolored chairs and cozy sofas scattered throughout a vast area below high ceilings flooded with sunlight. Customers can eat while surfing the Internet, lying on sofas, or reading books from the library. They can sip drinks on giant swings or even scribble graffiti on a designated wall.

Other columns of the Tuti floor house a business center, a charming collection of jars containing different Turkish spices and a photography display. This exciting, playful, childlike atmosphere is a breath of fresh air in comparison to other glitzy and overdone hotels on the Mediterranean coast.

Buffet simple and refined, not overdone

The daily buffets are tastefully arranged. Although they are extensive, they are not exaggerated or excessive. Portions are moderate but filling. For breakfast and brunch, a selection of eggs and other cooked dishes, low calorie assortments, typical Turkish breakfast items such as jams, cheeses, cucumbers and a selection of cereals, are on offer.

From Tuti’s a la carte menu, the dish of salad on ice is noteworthy. Presented in a distinctive frozen ice bowl, chopped cucumbers and tomatoes provide an instant cooling effect to diners with its icy container. As a main course, crackly sea bass with rocket and a tomato salad provides a local Mediterranean twist to a fusion dish. Light snacks include tortilla tost döner with cheese, and the time-honored mini Marmara burger. Â

Due to its solid reputation within Turkey, The Marmara Antalya and its Tuti Restaurant host a large number of customers from Istanbul and locals from Antalya, as well as Asian and European visitors, making it a select, distinctive crowd.Â
