Turkish Airlines new sub-company Anadolujet takes off

Anadolujet, the new subsidiary of Turkey's national air carrier, Turkish Airlines (THY), started its flights officially on Wednesday. It would fly from Ankara to at least 20 destinations, told a THY official to reporters in the cockpit during the first flight.

Turkish Airline's new subsidiary Anadolujet began to carry passengers officially on Wednesday. The first flight of the new company took the route from Ankara's International Esenboga Airport to Eastern provinces of Van and Erzurum.

"Anadolujet would fly from Ankara to at least 20 destinations in the country, and the number of flights and their frequency could change in different seasons." Koksal Koktuna, a THY official told to reporters in the cockpit during the first flight. 

Koktuna said they wanted people to fly to different destinations with cheaper fares. He said that week long, the prices would be around 54 YTL, tax included. (1 USD equals 1.32 YTL).
