Turkey Undertook to Place Annan Plan to Referendum

Turkey today handed a document to UN undertaking that they accepted holding of referenda in Cyprus and endorsing the outcome. The undertaking includes passing the the result of the referenda from parliament, in case it is positive.UN Secretary General had demanded this document in the closing ceremony in Burgenstock but the Greek and Greek Cypriot delegations had refused to sign any agreement.  A copy of the undertaking of Turkey was sent each to Greece and Britain.
