Turkey to host under-17 European Championship

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) decided on Friday that Turkey would host the under-17 European Championship in 2008.
The union's executive board decided at a meeting in Nyon, Switzerland, that the championship will be held in the southern-Mediterranean city of Antalya. National teams of eight European countries will participate in the championship.
