An earthquake measuring 8.2 on the Richter scale hit the Tsunami affected region of West Indonesia late Monday, sending residents running into the hills in fear that another Tsunami would follow causing more death and destruction.   According to reports coming in at least 300 people have been killed by the "great quake", but Vice President Jusuf Kalla of the affected Island, Nias, told local radio stations that he estimates up 2,000 people could be dead. The quake, which sent the community of Nias Island into panic, hit at 11.09 p.m. and was felt in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangkok. The quake comes as a huge shock to the region following a Tsunami that struck back on December 26, triggering the biggest known natural disaster in the history of the region, killing more than 300,000 people.
