ISTANBUL - Several construction firms launch year-end and New Year campaigns with generous offers for potential homebuyers to liven up the real estate market.

Property developers are offering new opportunities to potential buyers in a last attempt to revive the real estate market just before the New Year.

For those who want to enter the New Year in new homes, campaigns by several construction companies offer various opportunities. They range from "zero interest-no down payment" sales to generous discounts to low interest rates. Some campaigns include a fixed exchange rate and down payments payable on an installment plan. Buyers are also offered gifts such as built-in white goods, furniture and cars. These offers are meant to attract year-end demand.

Only for the New Year
The property market is known to liven up during the holidays and just before the New Year. This results in short-term campaigns in the sector. This year’s short-term campaigners are Saros İnşaat, Alper İnşaat, Hasanoğlu İnşaat and Coldwell Banker.

Saros İnşaat has launched a campaign valid until Dec. 31 offering 10 units from its fifth stage Zeytinsuyu Tepesi Evleri. The campaign offers a considerable discount: The selling price of the units is down to $250,000 from $400,000. The U.S. dollar has also been fixed to a rate of YTL 1.30.

Lal Konutları at Hasanoğlu İnşaat’s Banu Evleri project has a campaign offering a payment plan of three installments for the down payment plus a 36-month payment plan for the remainder of the total.

Alper İnşaat’s new project "Selective Kartal Evleri" has an opening campaign that is also valid until Dec. 31. Buyers are offered a 15 percent discount on down payments and, if wished, a down payment payable on an installment plan, lending facilities that include loans at zero interest. Unit prices in the project start from YTL 132,000.

Coldwell Banker’s campaign for its Studio Life project offers zero down payment and 36-month installments with no interest cost. Selling prices of homes in this project range from YTL 88,000 to YTL 126,000.

Extended campaigns
Some construction firms have extended campaigns they had launched during the Feast of the Sacrifice (Kurban Bayramı) at the beginning of December until the end of the year. Expecting an increase in home sales, they have further extended their campaigns after the New Year. Among those firms that have extended their campaigns past the New Year are Regnum, Dumankaya, Sinpaş, Soyak, Fi-Yapı, Teknik Yapı, Beşyıldız Yuvataş, Namberg İnşaat, Gül İnşaat, D-Yapı and Demir İnşaat.

D-Yapı: Residences on sale in Mall City Residence through Hürriyet Marketing and D-Yapı are offered with a 30 percent down payment, 60-month installment plan with 1 percent interest rate. Prices range between $85,000 and $111,000.

Regnum: Astrum Towers project has launched a campaign of zero down payment or 48-month installment plan with zero interest. Prices start from YTL 140,000. Loans are available up to 90 percent of total payment. A 15 percent discount is offered for cash purchases. Soyak: Their year-end campaign for the Siesta project in İzmir offers a discount of 3 percent if 35 percent of the price is paid as down payment and 5 percent discount if 50 percent is paid as down payment. If the purchase is made in cash, a discount of 12 percent is offered. Prices range from YTL 100,000 to 250,000.

Fi-Yapı: Fiyaka’s campaign, valid until Jan. 31 for Esenşehir project, requires a YTL 49,500 down payment. A fixed installment of YTL 990 for 24 months is offered. Prices range from YTL 109,000 to YTL 119,000.
