Natural gas found in north west Turkey

A natural gas field has been found in the north west of Turkey by the Merty Company. The Turkish oil explorer, discovered the natural gas field while carrying out boring works in the province of Edirne, reports the Anatolian Agency. The gas was found at a depth of 1,052 meters. To determine the amount and pressure of gas corresponding technical works will be carried out within 20 days.
