ISTANBUL - A touring exhibition of work by Balkan photographers, called "Light and Shadows," will include images by Turkish artist Timurtaş Onan.
Organized by the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, the exhibition will include10 images by eight photographers from eight Balkan countries on the theme of "Balkan culture."
Curated by Magda Michailidou, the exhibit aims to show the cultural similarities among Balkan countries and how they are reflected in each country. The works were selected by a jury made up of members from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Serbia and Turkey.
The exhibition will open April 9 in the Serbian capital of Belgrade and then it will travel to eight Balkan countries.
