ISTANBUL - Lipsi has opened as restaurant, bar and club at Nişantaşı Abdi İpekci Street and has taken its place among favorite entertainment venues for winter time

Opened at the place of Niş, the unforgettable historic venue, Lipsi bears the name of a little Greek island in the Kalymnos region. Bearing a different style with its Greek appetizers and music, Lipsi serves as a bar and nightclub as well as a restaurant with plenty of entertainment.

Lipsi implements a "fixed" price system excluding beverages for the first time in Turkey. While a fixed price is paid for continuously changing and dynamic menu comprised of cold appetizers and warm starters, main dish and dessert, the beverages are included to the price according to the preference.

Famous Turkish DJ Suat Ateşdağlı is Lipsi’s music coordinator. Atesdağlı gathers the taste and entertainment fans at Lipsi with an "Aegean and Mediterranean Music Synthesis" that has recently taken hold of Western Europe. The group, consisting of the Greek musician Gallis and his friends, performs live music three days a week. The group presents finest pieces of Greek and Turkish music and adds a different taste to the Aegean appetizers and dishes. It is possible to taste some of the Aegean appetizers at the bar during the meal time.

Lipsi's rich menu, which is renewed each season, is made up of delicious seafood, hot Ğ cold herby appetizers (green cuisine), meat dishes and delicious desserts prepared by Greek chefs. Among some favorite menu items are "sea bass with ginger," "shrimp saganaki," "octopus with lentil fava," "meat radika," "veal orzo," "Greek style hot bonito pilaki," "chocolate pudding with caramel base," "Baklava with rakı sorbe" and "home made gum liqueur."

Lipsi’s decoration also attracts attention as much as its menu, music and entertainment. Chairs, tablecloths and Greek-style ceramics attract attention on the restaurant floor, the ceilings covered with mirrors surprise in the bar and on the dance floor. The restaurant gives an impression of Greece with blue and white while fuchsia and blue upstairs creates a new trend with Eastern Mediterranean tones in decoration.

Lipsi serves under the structure of Desert Turizm, which has created projects such as Niş and G By Karaf in the past and also includes the Greek restaurant Varoulko with Michelin star serving at popular venues Topaz and Reina this summer.Lipsi gathers all meal and entertainment lovers at one venue as a restaurant, bar and club. Opening its doors as an entertaining venue with plenty of music and delicious food, Lipsi adds a new dimension to the good life in Istanbul.
