A statement issued after the 2.3-hour meeting of the National Security Board said that “Turkey which is the side that started the process (in Cyprus) continues fully and sincerely supporting efforts to attain a just and lasting solution.”With another meeting scheduled for Monday, the MGK has been holding for the first time in its history, three meetings in one week. Until Monday, MGK will review the Annan Plan. Diplomatic Success Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc dubbed the result attained on Cyprus as the diplomatic success of the Turkish government. He said that the last word on the Plan belonged to the people on the April 24 referenda and the Turkish Parliament will honor that decision.�
