“Some people are trying to increase tension in Turkey as far as they can. Yesterday, in some cities, such as Ankara and Istanbul, the members of a party called DEHAP appealed to courts saying, “We want to replace our Turkish names with Kurdish ones in line with new laws.”“A new regulation issued on the subject prohibits usage of letters that do not exist in our alphabet, such as w, q, and x. However these people insistently choose names that include these letters. For instance, they want to replace Hasan with Xasan. They have a conflict with their own country. They think only about Kurdism and anti-Turkism. I advise them to go to their all-time-supporter EU countries and dare including Turkish characters in their names…I condemn these people and others similar to them, who are still fed by the resources of this country.”�
