DP nominates Arabacıoglu to run for presidency in TRNC

Democrat Party (DP) on Thursday nominated its Secretary General Mustafa Arabacioglu to run for the presidency of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). DP leader and TRNC Foreign Minister Serdar Denktas made a statement following DP assembly meeting and said the decision was taken unanimously.Thus, number of candidates to run for the presidency in TRNC increased to 7.The presidential elections will take place on April 17th in TRNC.Â
