Death toll rises to 23 due to counterfeit raki

One more person who was taken under medical treatment after drinking bootleg raki in Istanbul died in the hospital on Monday, increasing the death toll to 23, Istanbul Health Directorate said. Directorate officials told that Kenan Cincin died due to methyl alcohol poisoning.Seven more people were in hospitals for methyl alcohol poisoning. Three of them are in serious condition.Â
