At a ceremony in Paris, the manuscripts of Ayse Sultan, the eldest daughter of Sultan Abdul-Hamid II ruler of the Ottoman Empire between 1876 and 1909, were given to Turkish officials from Topkapi Palace Saturday.The manuscripts, in their original version were given to Turkish Ambassador to France Uluc Ozulker from Ayse Rabia Nami Osmanoglu, the grand daughter of Asye Sultan. There will be an auction March 8. to sell off some of the private belongings of Ayse Sultan. The collection includes: books, paintings and some items from the exiled years of the Ottoman family. Â
