"The person who threatened to blow up the plane and demanded it change course has been neutralized," a source at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport was quoted as saying by Interfax news agency.  Â

A drunk passenger on a Russian internal flight caused a hijack scare on Friday, Russia's Interfax news agency quoted a law enforcement source as saying. A Russian law enforcement source had at first told Interfax a man shouting "Allah Akbar" had demanded the plane from the Black Sea resort of Sochi to Moscow divert to Vienna.  Â
The agency also reported that the crew radioed air traffic controllers shortly after the incident and said the disruption had been caused by "a drunk passenger who decided he wanted to take control of the plane."
"The situation is under control," Interfax quoted the source as saying.
