30th Eurasia Marathon in Turkey to be run on Sunday

Turkish athletes won 11 out of 29 previous races in men's category while foreign athletes including eight Kenyans, five Ethiopians, two Britons, a Danish, a Zimbabwean and a Lithuanian came on the first place in the remaining 18 races.

In women's category, foreigners have won 15 of 16 races since 1991. Serap Aktas was the first Turkish female athlete who came in the first place in the marathon in 1994. Five Russian, four Romanian, four Ukrainian, a British, a Belorussian and an Ethiopian athletes won the previous marathons.
