Molotov cocktails hurled at Turkish consulate in Germany, no injuries

Unidentified assailants threw six Molotov cocktails at the Turkish consulate in Germany's Dusseldorf city at 3:00 a.m. local time, the Anatolian Agency reported citing the city's police department.   Â

Only one of the Molotov cocktails exploded, the agency also said, adding that a police investigation was underway.Â

The consular general Hakan Kivanc told the agency that he was saddened by the attack.  "I hope the assailant is quickly apprehended and that justice is served," he added.
