The fund's "indecision" stems from budget targets that Turkey is unwilling to revise because that would mean cutting investments, Erdoğan said in a television interview, according to Sabah.

The IMF is trying to impose a "template" on Turkey that the government won't agree to, Erdoğan said, according to Sabah. It's "saddening" that the fund is creating difficulties for a member country in times of global crisis when it should be offering support, he said.
