FM Gul to Rice: Warn Barzani about his words

Gul and Rice reportedly spoke by phone yesterday, with Gul underlining to Rice that Ankara expected the US to take up the Barzani matter with the northern Iraqi leader himself. Gul and Rice also reportedly spoke about the upoming Iraq summit to take place in Istanbul. Though Istanbul had originally been the planned site of the second Iraqi summit, the plans were changed to hold this summit in Cairo. It is thus expected that the third Iraqi summit will occur in Istanbul.
