Turkish Petroleum Refineries Corporation (TUPRAS) was Turkey's largest company in 2005 as it has been in the recent past, a report by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) announced. ISO made known the top 500 Turkish companies of 2005 today.

Tupras's sales in 2005 were 14.2 billion YTL (9.2 billion USD). Tupras is followed by Ford Automotive Corporation with a sales turnover of 5.1 billion YTL (3.3 billion USD).
Toyota Automotive Corporation was ranked third with a sales amount of 3.4 billion YTL (2.2 billion USD). (more)Â Â
