International Women’s day Festival

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the annual Doğan Burda Magazine Women’s Festival is being held at the Istanbul Hilton Hotel today and tomorrow. The theme of this year’s festival, “Name: Woman”, aims to present women with motivating platforms for change and development.

Amongst activities and workshops will be exhibitions such as Bennu Gerede’s, ‘Submission’ and Muammer Yanmaz’s ‘15 Women Directors’, as well as a documentary entitled, ‘We are Building Bridges’ (Köprüler Kuruyoruz), one of the films from the Flying Broom Film Festival.
