ANKARA - A quartet of young violinists will present a repertoire of classical music, tango, jazz, film scores and Turkish melodies tonight to music lovers in Ankara.

The CSO Cello Quartet, part of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, or CSO, comprises musicians Onur Şenler, Yaz Irmak, İbrahim Aydoğdu and Köklü Yiğit Tan. Among the works they will perform during the concert are George Gershwin’s "Portraits," Şostakoviç’s "Chitarri," Dave Brubeck’s "Blue Rondo a la Turk," Johann Sebastian Bach’s "Air Suite," Bowman’s "12th Street Rag," Mores’"Cafetin de Buenos Aires," Rodrigues’ "La Cumparsita" and Monti’s "Csardas."

The quartet will also perform the traditional folk song "Frochlicher Schneider" and Turkish poet Aşık Veysel’s "Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım," arranged by CSO violinist Hasan Niyazi Tura. The concert will be at 8 p.m. at the CSO Concert Hall in Ankara.
