Turkish commander visits Chinese counterpart

BEIJING – During his visit to China yesterday, Gen. Hasan Aksay, the commander of the Turkish War Academies, said Turkish and Chinese armies should launch joint military exercises.
Aksay met Second Chief of Chinese General Staff Gen. Ge Zhenseng in Beijing. Gen. Ge said the visit would boost relations between the armies of the two countries. Gen. Aksay will proceed to Shanghai tomorrow and leave China on Friday.
