Turkish and Israeli admirals meet in Ankara

The meeting between the Israeli Navy Commander Vice Admiral Eli Marum and Turkish Naval Forces Commander Admiral Metin Atac took place at the Naval Forces Command Headquarters in Ankara.

"We will debate relations between the naval forces of the two countries and regional and world peace during our meeting," Atac told reporters.

Atac hoped that the meeting would be a fruitful one.

Admiral Marum said that Turkish and Israeli naval forces had good relations, and those relations would be further improved and contribute to regional and global peace.

Marum will depart from Turkey later on Wednesday.
