The Palestinian guards of the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad
2 Palestinian brothers are defending the Turkish Embassy in the Veziriye region of Baghdad against looters. Samir and Suheyp Hasan brothers have been working at the Turkish Embassy for 5 and 9 years respectively.

The Palestinian brothers asked for support from U.S. forces first, but after they could not get a positive response, they started to defend the building against looters with their own arms, together with a small group of supporters. The embassy and residence buildings are being attacked everyday as the looting in the region has turned into an organized one. The brothers asked for help from Turkey saying that, “We feel ourselves like Turks and we are defending Turkey here.”
