-- VILLAGERS FOUND THEM AFTER 47 HOURS

Villagers found the wreckage of the helicopter in Kanlıcukur region 47 hours after the crash. The rescue efforts were carried out in the wrong place. No survivors reported in the helicopter carrying Muhsin Yazicioglu and other five people. A group of 17 people including voluntary villagers and village guards found the wreckage of the helicopter in Kanlicukur region of the Kes Mountain by chance. Villagers said Yazicioglu and other five lost their lives and their body were covered with ice.

 

-- TURKEY TO VOTE ON SUNDAY

Turkey will vote on Sunday for local administrators who will work for the next 5 years. 48,006,650 electors will vote for mayors and municipal and provincial assemblies. The electors will cast their votes in 177,050 ballot boxes.

-- MIND THE CLOCK WHEN CASTING VOTE

48 million voters will go to the ballot box Sunday to elect 92,848 local administrators. Higher Board of elections made the following important warning to voters: mind the clock, when going to the ballot box, as the clocks will be wound back one hour for Daylight-Saving Time.  Voters are required to show their I.D, driver's license, passport, certificate of marriage, other official I.D's, or registry records issued by Birth Registration Offices, which must have the Citizenship Number on it. Voters who are carrying a valid form of I.D. with Citizenship Number printed on it will be able to cast their votes without the Voters Information Card. Voters who are still waiting in line when the elections had finished will be allowed to cast their votes.

 

-- OUR HEARTS BEAT IN SPAIN TONIGHT

Turkish National Soccer Team which competes in the 5th Group of World Cup Qualifying Round will play against the last European champion, Spain, Saturday night. Both teams have not suffered defeats in the group yet. The game at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid will begin at 11:00 pm.

-- TRAGIC WELFARE

Wreckage of the helicopter carrying Muhsin Yazicioglu and other five people were found in the third day of the crash. Hopeful waiting that lasted for 47 hours turned into a tragedy with the news that Yazicioglu and others died. 17 villages who found the wreckage said, "front part of the helicopter was in pieces. The helicopter is covered with snow. We found the body of 5 people. Their faces are covered with 2 cm ice".

 

-- SIGNAL FOR REVISION AFTER ELECTIONS

Asked if there would be a revision in the cabinet after the elections, Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said, "our friends who got tired can be changed. However, this is not on our agenda at the time being."

Former Democracy Party (DEP) deputy Remzi Kartal was arrested in Spain. There was an international arrest warrant against Kartal.

-- HELICOPTER CRASH CAUSALTIES WERE SEARCHED IN THE WRONG PLACE FOR 47 HOURS

The wreckage of the helicopter which was carrying Grand Unity Party (BBP) leader Muhsin Yazicioglu and five other people, was found 47 hours after the crash by villagers outside the zone searched by rescue teams. Rescue teams looked for the wreckage around Goksun and its surrounding area for 47 hours. However the wreckage was found east of that zone in the open field in Kurudere on Kes Mountain. 17 villagers who set out from Dongel village reached the wreckage around 3:00 pm . Frozen bodies of IHA reporter Ismail Gunes who have called the emergency hotline and Erhan Ustaundag were found in the front of the fuselage which was completely thorn apart. The bodies of the three other casualties including BBP Leader Yazicioglu were found near the helicopter.

-- ARE THERE VOICE RECORDS OF ERDOGAN

Premier Tayyip Erdogan told Show TV Thursday night that his phone was being tapped and he was uneasy when speaking on the phone. About around the same time a voice record claimed to belong Erdogan was put on the internet. In the voice record which was uploaded Thursday, around midnight, to the Rapidshare, a leading file sharing website, the people who are claimed to beÂErdogan and BusinessmanÂRemzi Gur are speaking over the phone. Around the time this file was uploaded to the Internet, Erdogan was on Show TV channel and

 answering a question as to whether his phone could be tapped as follows: "What do you think? Of course. Therefore I watch what I say over the phone. I'm not comfortable speaking over the phone." Erdogan told NTV Friday night about his precautions against monitoring. "I tell people who want to speak on the phone to come visit me. And against monitoring, I watch where I am."

-- VILLAGERS FOUND THE WRECKAGE

Wreckage of the helicopter carrying Grand Unity Party (BBP) leader Muhsin Yazicioglu and five other people could be reached 48 hours after the crash. None of them could survive. Officials and civilian rescue teams were searching for the helicopter for two days but villagers found it. 17 people from Dongel village of Goksun province of Kahramanmaras found the wreckage of the plane. They said the wreckage scattered 50-60 square meters.

 

-- EXCITEMENT FOR MATCH WITH SPAIN

Turkish national soccer team will take on the last European Champion Spain in the 5th Group of World Cup Qualifying Round. The match that will take place at Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will start at 11.00 p.m.

-- IT LASTED 47 HOURS TO REACH THE WRECKAGE

The helicopter carrying BBP leader Muhsin Yazicioglu and five other people that crashed in Kahramanmaras was found 47 hours after the accident. Village guard Selim Isik said, "the villagers said they heard a noise at the day of the crash. We went to that region. We saw the wreckage. There was the smell of cable. We decided to return when snowstorm started. We informed BBP administrators and guards of prime minister about this. The journalist could have survived if they had gone when we told them."

 

-- IT IS THE CABINET, IT CAN CHANGE

Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said a change may take place in the cabinet after the elections. He said, "the cabinet is always open to such changes. This is normal after elections. A blood change may be required."

-- BAD NEWS AFTER 47 HOURS

 The wreckage of the helicopter which was carrying Grand Union Party (BBP) leader Muhsin Yazicioglu and five other people, was found after two days in the Kes Mountain in Kahramanmaras. There were no survivors. 17 village guards fromÂDongel village of Goksun reached the wreckage around 3:00 pm. All six people aboard the helicopter died when it crashed the 2.500 meters high Kes Mountain and tumbled down to Sahinkaya site. Village Guard Abidin Karatas said parts of the fuselage which ended up in the open field covered with two meters of snow, were scattered around in a 60 meters area. Karatas said they found the wreckage in the opposite direction of the zone where rescue efforts had focused, noting that nobody searched that area.

 

-- CRITICAL TURN IN MADRID

Turkey's National Soccer team will be playing against Spain in Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid in order to advance to the 2010 Word Cup Finals. Spanish soccer player Xavi Hernandez who held a press conference, said "We will compete for victory. However Turkey is a struggling, patriotic and aggressive team."
