ANKARA - The main opposition Republican People’s Party, or CHP, has prepared 10 questions about alleged links of the ruling Justice and Development Party, or AKP, to the Lighthouse e.V. embezzlement case in Germany. The CHP will submit the questions to the Ankara Prosecutor’s Office, to be conveyed to German authorities, parliamentary group leader Hakkı Süha Okay announced yesterday.

The questions focus on money laundering allegations and the involvement of some ministers, including Radio and Television Corporation, or RTÜK, president Zahid Akman, in the corruption case. "Has the prime minister’s son been to the Lighthouse e.V. office in Germany?" the CHP asked.

Meanwhile, CHP deputy Ali Kılıç said he would file a suit against Nihat Ergün, from AKP on the grounds that Ergün defamed him.
