Alpay: Beckham Must Apologize First

Turkish soccer player Alpay Ozalan, who has been strongly condemned by the British media because he had a skirmish with David Beckham in the match between Turkish and British national soccer teams last Saturday, said, “Beckham should apologize from crescent-star (symbols on Turkish flag) since he spat on me but hit the crescent-star on my uniform.He should apologize from Turkey and from our flag.” Regarding the claims in the British media that he has been threatened with death, Alpay said, “There is no such threat. No one can dare doing that.”�
