Actor/lawyer Pekcan TÜRKEŞ: New legal guide book

Actor, lawyer and writer Pekcan Türkeş will appear with Aydan Şener at the Abdullah Şahin Halk Theater in the Profilo Culture Center. In his role as a lawyer, Türkeş is on bookshelves with his legal guidebook "Avukat Sizsiniz" (You Be the Lawyer).
While continuing with acting, Türkeş, who created the sympathetic cook Yusuf Yusuf Usta on "Olacak O Kadar TV," has been working as a lawyer for 36 years. Türkeş gathered his writing in book form and aired it on TGRT as "My Family’s Lawyer." He prepared his new legal guidebook based on a number of laws, including those dealing with children’s rights, animal protection, violence and the prevention of chaos in sports competitions.
"Pekcan Türkeş is an astonishing person who suddenly appears before us. He is an experienced player and writer who has used his pen well on various subjects," Dr. Haluk Şahin wrote in an introduction to the guidebook. "When reading the articles he wrote about Istanbul with the eye of a professional tour guide I was affected by his deep knowledge and flowing style. I think this legal guide can be useful in solving the legal problems of the Turk and those of foreigners, who are getting much more involved in our lives as time goes on."
Türkeş has also spent 43 years on TRT Istanbul Radio as a voice-over actor, director and playwright and has written plays for children and young people on a number of different subjects.
