    Two immigrants missing in boat accident off Turkish Coast

    Two Mauritians went missing when a small sized boat capsized off the west coast of Turkey, Tuesday. The boat was carrying would-be illegal immigrants to Greece from Turkey. There was no immediate news on the boat's crew.

    The four meter (12-foot) boat was spotted by local fishermen just off the Aegean coast near to the city of Ayvalik. Nine passengers were rescued by the coast guard, eight Iranians and one Mauritian.

    The survivors, who entered Turkey illegally are now in police custody.
