    Turkish PM to discuss energy in Turkmenistan

    Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan will discuss impacts of the recent developments in the global financial world and energy issues with officials during his visit to Turkmenistan.

    The impacts of the recent global crisis, energy issues, relations between Turkey and Turkmenistan, as well as regional and international issues would be on the agenda of his talks with Turkmen officials, the Anatolian Agency reported Erdogan as saying departure at Ankara's Esenboga airport before leaving for Turkmenistan.


    The "Turkey-Turkmenistan Business Forum" meeting would be held within the scope of the visit, and he would also meet with Turkish businessmen and citizens living in Turkmenistan, Erdogan also said, adding that "I hope these visits will contribute to peace, stability and prosperity in our region," he said.


    Erdogan will proceed to Mongolia following to his Turkmenistan visit.


    Turkish State Minister and Deputy Premier Hayati Yazici, State Minister Said Yazicioglu, Trade Minister Zafer Caglayan, Energy Minister Hilmi Guler and a group of deputies will accompany Erdogan during his visit.
