German and Turkish ministers meeting in Turkey on September 7 will reportedly reveal a shared plan for "intercultural dialogue". The plan is to carry the name of former German Social Democratic Party leader Ernest Reuter, who escaped from Nazi Germany and took refuge in Turkey.

Turkish FM Abdullah Gul and German FM Frank-Walter Steinmeier will present the Ernest Reuter Manifesto to the public in a call to prevent further clashes between different cultures and religions. In many ways, it is anticipated to be a continuation of the previous public declarations made in both the German newspaper Bild and the Hurriyet from the same ministers.
