Turkey recovered from a goal down to beat Bosnia 2-1 with two second half goals in their World Cup Group Five qualifying game on Saturday.

Sabri Sarioglu and Mevlut Erdinc scored a goal each in the second half Saturday to help Turkey come back and beat Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1 in a World Cup qualifying match.

Edin Dzeko had given the visitors the lead in the 27th minute with a header, although a frustrated Turkey had more first-half chances.

Sarioglu scored from a free kick in the 51st to equalize. Erdinc then headed in the final goal in the 66th.

"It was unpleasant to concede a goal but we didn't give up and after it we fought like lions," said Turkey coach Fatih Terim whose team stepped up the pace in the second half.

Turkey, also known as the comeback king of Euro 2008, in which it was eliminated in semi-finals, now have seven points from three matches before visiting Estonia in their next qualifier on Wednesday.

Turkey is in second place in Group 5 two points behind Spain.
