    Ten people injured in Diyarbakir demo

    Illegal demonstrations held in the southeastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir turned violent on Sunday resulting in ten people being injured. Demonstrators threw stones at policemen, the violence led to ten people being injured, this included journalists and policemen. The group were gathering in front of a morgue where the body of a terrorist was taken by his family. Demonstrators chanted slogans in support of the terrorist organization.

    Police called the demonstrators to disperse and the group responded by throwing stones at them. Tear gas and water was used by the police to break up the demonstration. The demonstrators also broke the windows of some banks and 10 people injured in the turmoil.
