Tan, in a press briefing told reporters, ''there is a historical national park in Gelibolu peninsula where harsh battles took place in 1915. A construction activity is actually going on there to enlarge the coastal road leading to Anzac bay where every year commemoration ceremonies are held.''
''The roads in the area are not wide enough to contain thousands of people attending ceremonies every year. Thus, this construction will ease attendance of people at the ceremony field,'' added Tan.
''Reports by various press organs, claiming that the road ruins
historical graves are baseless,'' added Tan.
