“…There is a significant mass in the society, who want their children to receive religious education. Their aim is not making their children clerics. They want to see their children as having a modern occupation following a powerful religious education. Such a mass exists in every society.
“…Trying to meet this demand with “vocational schools” is a kind of “takiyye” (LIE) made by the rightist governments and military administrations. They took advantage of the lack of vocational schools in order to open religious schools without violating the Law on the Unity of Education. In fact, the duty of the state is to open regular high schools providing education, which has more weight in religious courses, similar to those regular high schools having more weight in language courses.
“…In any case, applying different coefficients in a standard test, such as university entrance test (OSS), in order to disqualify the Preachers' Schools is a kind of favoritism. If it is a standard test, everybody having the right should enter that test and be evaluated equally…Such a test cannot make a discrimination in itself.”
