Kurusawa’s paintings at Pera : Japanese master of cinema Akira Kurusawa is the man behind 87 extraordinary drawings in a new exhibit at Pera Museum through April 26. Kurusawa was inspired not only by Japanese culture but also by the great masters of European art such as Van Gogh, Czanne and Chagall. Spanish multi-culture film series

Red Army Choir
This weekend, the Alexandrov Red Army Choir will perform its last two shows at TIM Show Center in Istanbul on March 14-15. The official Russian Army Song and Dance Ensemble consists of a male choir, an orchestra and a dance ensemble. The songs they perform range from Russian folk tunes to operatic arias, popular music and even several Turkish folk songs. Tickets through Biletix.
