Kirklareli Governor Ismet Metin asked the 100 families from Van, who have been staying at the camp since January 3, to leave the camp befopre March 1. As a representative for the families, Osman Akbas said the following: "We are being subjected to oppression; that is why we immigrated. Now the State asks us to immigrate again. We will absolutely not return to our village for people to be killed. It is the last straw to go to hunger strike. This is our last remedy. We may die at the hunger strike but we will not return to the village."
