Turkish investors leading in Russia and Central Asia

The head of Turkey’s leading business association's international branch said on Monday that Turkish investors had become major economic powers dominating in Central Asian Turkic republics and Russia.
At a conference organized by the Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) International, International Chairman Aldo Kaslowski said that the growing operations of Turkish companies in those countries revealed the competitive power of Turkish investors.

TUSIAD International was active in emerging markets to increase Turkish investments in strategic countries, Kaslowski said.

TUSIAD International was concentrated in Italy, Spain and Norway to draw investments from those countries and in China, Russia and Ukraine to make investments in 2008, he said.
He also said that TUSIAD International established working groups to develop strategies and ways for Turkey to take advantage of the $3 trillion in sovereign wealth funding that is available.
